Growing up Doug has always had a deep love and appreciation for everything outdoors including hunting.  His passion for wild bird hunting developed nearly 20 years ago when he purchased his first bird dog. For the first time, it was not the actual hunt that excited him so much. Owning and training dogs while cultivating and refining their natural instincts ignited something he had never known before. Looking to take his dogs and training ability one step further, Doug began competing with the National Shoot to Retrieve Association. Every day that he is not working at Hall County Fire Department, Doug can be found on the bird field working and training with his best friends.
